Jesus Martínez-Gómez received the MSc. and PhD degrees in Computer Science in 2008 and 2011, respectively, from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.
He is an active member of the Intelligent Systems and Datamining research group in the Albacete Research Institute of Informatics I3A, and works as Research head for the company Grupo Vermon.
He has been part time lecturer in telecommunications in the Cuenca polytechnics school and Albacete computer science school, researcher in the IDIAP research institute under the supervision of Barbara Caputo, and post doc researcher in the University of Alicante in the Robotics and Tridimensional Vision Group under the supervision of Miguel Cazorla.
His research includes robotics, semantic localization, artificial intelligence, multimodal human-robot interaction, computer vision, and android development.
